Family Support - SSW, Psychologist, etc.

The social workers and psychologist at the preschool perform a variety of roles in order to help support our students, their families and our staff.

Our psychologist, Leigh Miller, is an evaluator on our Special Education Assessment team for children ages 0-5, provides consultation support to all of our Preschool Staff and community based services.

Our social workers, Amanda Chrzasz-Reedy and Bianka von Kulajta, are also evaluators on our Special Education Assessment Team for children ages 0-5, provide consultation support to all of our Preschool Staff and community-based services, and are available to consult with our Preschool Families to help link them to community resources.

As a school social worker, during the Covid-19 outbreak, social workers can help families identify resources in the community to help them with financial struggles, concerns about their child’s behaviors at home, mental health supports, and finding recreational sources to help their child strengthen / build their social experiences.

While Ann Arbor Public Schools are closed please feel free to contact us by phone or email if you have any questions or concerns at any point in time.

If you need general community resources, you can also look at the “Resources” heading found in the menu on the left of this page.
