Family & Community Resource Specialist

I was born and grew up on the south side of Ann Arbor. I went to Huron High School and then later graduated from the University of Michigan.  I have been working with high-need families and children in Washtenaw County for over 15 years, and I first started working with preschool families exclusively in 2011.  I have been with Ann Arbor Public Schools since 2018 as a Family and Community Partnership Specialist. I work with families to help them access community resources, enroll their children in school, and serve as a liaison between them and our programs.  I believe education, and in particular Early Childhood Education, is a key factor in providing opportunities for success and in breaking the cycle of poverty.  When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
